Ann Curry

Ann Curry is an American photographer and journalist who has been a reporter for over 45 years focused on suffering of people in conflict zones as well as natural disasters. Curry covered the conflicts in Kosovo Iraq Syria Lebanon Palestine Afghanistan Darfur Congo, and Central African Republic. Ann Curry was an American journalist, TV news reporter and host who is best recognized as a correspondent on the Today program which is a morning-time broadcast news program aired on NBC. Later, she moved into the role of anchor and reporter at KGW an NBC affiliate located in Portland, Oregan. Then, four years later, she relocated into Los Angeles and became a reporter at KCBS TV. Through her six-year relationship with KCBS the station, she won two Emmy Awards.
